LIFESTYLE // Scrapbook Update #3

Monday 3 August 2015

Hey there!
Here is the final instalment of my scrapbook updates! It has been finished for a little while and I'm onto my next project (such a creative one me - not!). This book sits on my coffee table and I smile at it like a proud mother as I actually finished it. Either way, here we go!

Yes, more bunting! It's just so simple to do and is lovely and different. For some reason I have started drawing a lot more in here. When I say draw, I mean absolutely awful doodle that could be drawn better by a 7 year old. It could be considered artistic....maybe.

Somehow, without me noticing, I got the Project Life cards that matched some papers I picked up. I love the pattern so much - it's just so bright!

I cannot tell you how much I love photo strips. I wanted these on my wall but I thought they would probably stay preserved a little better in my scrapbook. I kind of wish I had done something a little fancier with these but I wanted to see all of the photos and so this happened. It's pure and simple, yeah yeah. (That was a Hearsay reference fyi)

More layering, more PL and more of my own scrawl. I'd like to elaborate a bit more but there is nothing to say other than we're done and the book is finished! I wish I could be more inspirational or helpful but, for me at least, it is find a paper and a photo and stick them on a page. I just tend to play about with all the elements until I'm like RIGHT THAT'S IT WHERE'S THE GLUE?! Which I lost more times than I did the scissors. Seriously, where does that stuff go?!

So that's it - my first finished scrapbook! Have you started scrapbooking recently? Let me know!

  3. Love your scrapbook and it's such a fun idea to keep all the memories worth noting down. I actually started making a scrapbook for my daughter Ellie but since moving to London I have completely abandoned it so this post has reminded me to finish it x

  4. I made a scrapbook for my sisters 18th birthday, and spent sooo much time on it, but it was so worth it in the end! I would love to make my own one, but I'm honestly not sure I do enough interesting things to fill it up haha! Yours looks amazing, I love the photo strips too, and the bunting you've made is adorable! Lovely post x

  6. Love this!! For my 21st birthday last year my mum made one for me and I added to it, it had everything from when I was born up to twenty-one. I went interrailing this summer with my boyfriend so now I'm working on my own miniature one that reflects the trip - this post has definitely given me some ideas! I've followed you on Bloglovin hun, love your blog xxx

  17. Ahhh, it's so pretty! I've actually dreamed about scrapbooking since I was a little girl but I was not blessed in the creative department so the very little attempts I have made have been futile. Hahaha!

    1. Thank you so much! My insta photos are from Polarogram (or something like that) as well as the photo strips and all of my normal photos are snapfish. You can do collages to get different sized photos too!
