Hey there!
How is it possible that it's now November? Where on Earth has this year gone? This weekend has given me potentially the last Halloween I'll ever celebrate as a student. It might sound like a strange thing to say, but, never again will it be so convenient to celebrate such a fantastic holiday. When again will you not have arguments as to who wants to go where, or who wants to dress up as what because, at the end of the day, Halloween at university always seems to be simple.
Anyway, I thought I'd share a few snaps from the evening. I had a few friends (ahem graduates - how strange!) come up from home and I spent the entire evening doing their hair and make-up somehow. Although I perhaps didn't have enough time to get myself ready (ha!) we still had a fabulous night out. Isn't it just lovely when people compliment your outfit? Well, it always make my night!
So, I couldn't have decided on a more confusing costume. I reused (argh!) a dress I bought for Halloween last year and decided that Loki was going to be my inspiration. Due to me having blonde hair and my housemate (who made my amazing horns and staff) having dark hair, we decided to then be 'Thor dressed as Loki and Loki disguised as Thor'. Sure, very few people got it but when they did it felt incredibly rewarding. Kind of.
Anyway, the dress was an absolute bargain from H&M and perfectly sparkly. Paired with some biker boots - and voila - easiest halloween costume ever! I just used a mix of my Urban Decay Naked 2 and Smoky palettes to create a smoky eye to finish off the look.
So that was this year's Halloween look. It's crazy how simple accessories entirely change a costume. I still perhaps feel I shouldn't be wearing a dress like this, but y'know, it's Halloween!
How was your Halloween this year? What did you dress up as? Let me know!
i actually flew out on halloween night so didn't get to dress up hahaha i think your horn looks absolutely amazing! your housemate did an excellent job! ;)

Aww how cute do you guys all look! Your dress is actually gorrrrrrgeous. I was boring this year and wore normal clothes, but I did go all out with face tattoos and fake blood! x

Thank you! I couldn't help but go a little nuts this year. That dress just demands to be worn!

I love that dress on you! It is such a brilliant Halloween piece! I would definitely get that saved for another year at least, with a mortician vibe, or sourer the 2016 films, as there will be a character dress there somewhere! Great photos! :)

Thanks so much!

That is quite possibly the best costume idea, nothing beats Thor and Loki. My last minute costume was Enjolras from Les Miserables which was surprisingly fun! x
