FASHION // If Chicago is the windy city, what is Perth?*

Monday, 21 December 2015

Hello there!
Whilst I'm trying to leave uploading my photos from this trip until after it's over (they'll need editing and I do have my Masters research report to do...priorities) I couldn't help but upload these photos. I've spent the past week in Perth, gotten up to lots of cool stuff and seen lots of beautiful things. I even bumped into one of my friends from secondary school/sixth form which is completely insane!

Anyway, last Saturday my family and I decided to drive into Perth itself and see the city. If you ever get the chance to visit Perth you have to go to Kings Park and Botanical Gardens. The views of the city are to die for and your parking is free whilst you're there! We took in the landscape, had a walk around and found a treetop walkway. There is so much to do in the park, but you'll want your walking shoes - that's for sure.

FASHION // Jumping onto the culotte bandwagon

Monday, 29 June 2015

Hello!
Is it just me, or are culottes absolutely everywhere right now? I keep seeing uber chic people wearing them with sliders and white shirts, looking absolutely fabulous, but have been unable to pick myself up a pair. Fortunately, my local Primark had a pair go in the sale for £5 and I couldn't help but snap them up! I have worn them once and now understand why people love them - they are so dang comfy.

OOTD // You don't own worries or a chest full of heartache

Friday, 30 January 2015

Hello!
Yes, I know. This is my first outfit post in what feels like forever! I have very kindly asked Sam to take photos for me once a week so hopefully these will become more frequent! What's the point in dressing up for 3 hours worth of lectures at 8am if no-one apart from a few chemistry students are going to see it?

OOTD // Sunday morning strolls

Thursday, 16 October 2014

Hello my lovelies!
This weekend has been a minimum work weekend. I spent Friday night shopping downtown, Saturday and Sunday in bed with Netflix (and a little bit of organic chemistry of course) and Monday with a pile of work taller than the pile of textbooks I have on my desk. Oh, and I experienced Canadian Nandos for the first time too. It may be cheaper but I cannot get garlic bread as a side and that upsets me a lot!

Anyway, on Sunday morning I woke up super early to have a stroll around campus and take some photos. It's so lovely first thing in the morning with no-one about, you forget that thousands of students walk down Main Mall during the week.
