I have found my new favourite place in Downtown Van and it is in the form of The Factory. Situated right in the middle of Granville, it offers plenty of good food with an even better price. I popped in over the weekend for a meal before a lot of us left for Christmas and I am definitely 100% going back!
The Factory is the sort of place that plays The Black Keys, Foo Fighters, The Strokes with plenty of whiskey along for good measure. All meals are $4.95 and the food is surprisingly fantastic! I had the Factory Burger and thoroughly enjoyed it (and enjoyed the price even more!)
It's covered in posters and graffiti on the walls and bunting. It's currently decorated for Christmas with plenty of baubles and fairy lights to go around and just looks brilliant. It's the kind of place that serves you water in a Jack Daniel's bottle and that's just clever.
Great food, brilliant prices and a fab atmosphere? What else can you want? I definitely cannot wait to go back.
