What happened to this being a biweekly thing eh? I have had the craziest time at uni recently. Last week I had 8 assessments due in 7 days (yes - I haven't handed one in. I feel like such a rebel. It's quite liberating. STICK IT TO THE MAN) Anyway, if you want to know more about that I'll be doing a study abroad update post in the next couple of days so stay tuned for that.
Today I am finally going to do my second #lalalove post! Even though it has not been so lovely these past two weeks (because come on - there is not enough time in a week to do 8 assessments including 3 mid-terms) I have been trying to cling on to some happiness and here it is!
Scarves - I have developed a serious obsession with scarves. I am wearing one every single day. Before I leave the house I browse my scarf collection (I have five here - FIVE) and decide which to wear. It has turned into my favourite part of the day. I have really been reaching for my H&M blanket scarf a lot. It's just so warm and cosy (and doubles up as a blanket in my statistical mechanics lectures because apparently that room doesn't have heating).
My Ninj&Ninj planner: Just how gorgeous is it?! I picked this one up (along with a second planner that says '2015 is my bitch' because they were reduced to just $5 and it was free upgrade to express shipping if you bought 2 or more planners. They are so lovely and people always look twice and laugh. As you can see, I'm super, duper busy pretty much all the time. I'm meeting with class mates, lecturers, scheduling IR slots, having assessments left right and centre and still having to make sure I don't forget my keys. This planner really does help (and like I said - it's so pretty!)
Layering 2.0: Oh yeah. I'm still into layering. In fact, I'm even more so into layering than I was before. I bought this gorgeous jumper dress for just $24.95 in H&M and love it! It's a jumper on the model online but when I got my normal size and took it home it was much more of a jumper dress on me. Moral of the story, try something on before you buy it because otherwise you'll look like a kid in your Dad's jumper. I love it though - it's so warm and autumny and perfect!
Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo: I put three cans of dry shampoo in my suitcase and I ran out at an alarming rate. Batiste is so expensive in Canada - literally $14 for a can half the size of the UK! I was desperate and Herbal Essences offered this at the cheap and cheerful price of $3.50 and I absolutely adore it! It doesn't dry out my hair, it really soaks up oil and I think I'm just going to get this from now on. It's absolutely amazing!
Kiehl's Skin Rescuer: It has gotten super chilly but thanks to using this beauty once a day my skin is still not dry! Once it gets colder I might start using it day and night but whilst it isn't dropping below 10 degrees I'll save it. It's such a good moisturizer and goes such a long way. If you have issues with dry, sensitive skin it is definitely worth a try (and you can try it for a month and if it's not working out take it back! What's not to love?!)
Rimmel's Kate Moss 107: Last but not least it is my 107. I'm wearing it at least once a week (I do love me a nude eye too you know) and I always get so many compliments on it. It's the perfect Autumn shade and is just so pretty. I don't know what else to say other than 'it's pretty' but it really is!
So that's what I have been loving recently. What have been your favourite things (I did not just sing that) recently? let me know!
Everyones been raving about ths Kate Moss 107 lipstick I think I need to get my hands on one :-) great post !!

It's so gorgeous (although doesn't have the best stay power I've ever had). If you see it, definitely have a look!

I love your planner! I got a really complicated planner this year and I almost regret it - I think there's too much room if that's possible?! I really want to try the Herbal Essences dry shampoo as well, I've only just bought a new Batiste one but the citrus smell really appeals to me.

I know what you mean! I need a little bit more room but not much more. I've had page per day planners before and it is just too much room!

Great post! I saw those planners a few weeks ago and I was really tempted to buy one. They look so good so I think I might need to invest! :)

Petal Poppet Blogs ♥
They are just so cheeky! I always smile when I see it - crude motivation is still motivation at the end of the day right? The new ones have lines in each section now. It makes me so tempted to get another (but I won't!)

I have that jumper from H&M as well! I actually purposely bought it in the biggest size they had so it would be a jumper dress, I think it looks great like that!

It's just so comfy isn't it?! It's so perfect for those days where you just really cannot be bothered (and want to feel super cosy now it's actually reaching temperatures below 10 degrees!)

Ah, I saw that and wanted it so much! I keep finding myself looking at Paperchase's website and drooling. It's absolutely awful! I'm in definite need of some gloves today. I don't know how but the weather has gone from 15 degrees to just 3 in about 3 days. Where's Primark when you need it?!
