Hello there!
On Saturday I spent the day in London checking out Brick Lane (which I have never done ever which is appalling considering that I pretty much used to live in London). I was pretty sad that I couldn't go to V Festival (Kodaline, George Ezra and Ed Sheeran!!!) but who wants to pay £90 for a ticket really? Just ew. Anyway, I had such a lovely day and managed to get Chris to take some photos for me. Yay!
Shirt: Topshop (old)
Leggings: Primark (old)
Flatforms: Primark
Sunglasses: Primark
I cannot believe my entire outfit (apart from my old Topshop blouse that cost a fortune but was 100% worth the money) is from Primark. I didn't even realise! It was so comfy though and the shirt is nice and light but covered my arms so I could deal with the constantly changing London weather.
It was such a lovely day. I loved going through all the vintage stores and picking up every single funky shirt. I wish I had picked one up but I did get a t-shirt which I cannot wait to wear for Reading Festival. I have wanted to go to Rokit for so many years, I cannot believe this was my first visit.
I don't know how I have never been to Brick Lane before. I have heard so much about it and it really wasn't how I pictured it but I'll definitely visit again. There was always another shop to pop into and just so many funky shirts. I do not think I have seen a street with so much character before. Crazy.
Have you been to Brick Lane or want to go? Are there any places you'd recommend? Let me know!
I've never been to Brick Lane before but I'd definitely like too at some point! I only really visit the over touristy places and it's getting boring. I wanted to go to V this year too and it's only 10 mins away. In fact, last night I could hear it vaguely from my back garden yesterday, sob. You look lovely too, absolutely love those shoes! xxx

DeleteAnd who needs to go when you can hear it?! I'm too far away for that (way too far haha!)
:)

Brick Lane is such a cool place in London, I only discovered it recently and loved it, especially the famous bagel shop they have there. Love the outfit too, the shirt is really pretty xx

I really wanted to go the bagel shop but couldn't find it (although I did have Nando's so wasn't exactly hungry....)

Asdfghjkl, freaking out, because that area where you did the OOTD, I'm pretty certain that was used in Luther. Such a geek for spotting places used in TV shows!
ReplyDeleteI really need to visit Brick Lane, and Rough Trade - definitely need to visit the photobooth with someone!
That blouse is beautiful.

Really? I just saw it as a blank-ish wall with pretty good lighting haha!
DeleteIt's definitely worth visiting. I was there for hours!
:)
I LOVE Brick Lane, so many amazing shops, looks like you had a lovely time. Love your shirt too - definitely worth the splurge i'd say!

Thank you!
DeleteAnd yeah, it's crazy money :(

Looking lovely Rachael :) I've found that when you work at Primark you end up constantly wearing Primark. It's not the best haha. I really want to visit more places in London and Brick Lane looks cool, love all your photos.

Thanks lovely!
DeleteI can imagine. You'd see everything as soon as it comes in so you get the best choice. I would be absolutely awful if I worked in Primark - I'd never go into Topshop again!
:)

I love your outfit, especially the top! When I was visiting London last year, my cousin brought me to Brick Lane - it is so awesome to explore!
