FASHION // A little Autumn Haul

Hello there!
What is it about student finance coming in that makes you go absolutely bonkers and buy everything within a 3 feet distance? My spending has been out of control recently due to me thinking 'oh no - I have no going out shoes' or 'what am I going to wear tonight?' etc. etc. etc. Well, that must mean that I have a few new things to show off, and so here they are!

I thought I'd start off with some of the most beautiful silver shoes I have ever seen. ASOS have gotten these SECRETS sandals completely right. The scream Valentino (the Rockstud shoes will be mine eventually!) and are just so tacky I love them. They are such a statement that I cannot wait to dress up or down. I mean, sure they'll look great with skinnies and a tee or a fancy dress. You cannot lose!


I want to ask a question to the world on behalf of every woman above a size 16 (if that's okay with them). Why is it impossible to find a bralet, or at least pretty non-wired bra, in a size 18+? Next time you go shopping, have a little look. I have spent months searching to no avail and, to be frank, I have better things to do but refuse to until I find a reasonably sized bralet. I mean, sure, I don't intend to wear one out of the house but sometimes you want something on around the house that isn't uglier than my face first thing in the morning. I spotted this New Look beauty on the ASOS website and it is absolutely perfect. It is seriously comfortable and silky and pretty and exactly what I wanted. Take note shops of the high street - get more of these in the shops! I have no will power and will buy them all.

Last up is my new Converse. I had a voucher from Very which entitled me to £20 off and so, obviously, a new pair of Converse were inevitable. I have thrown out my precious Stars and Stripes recently after getting ruined in a Canadian thunder storm (may you rest in peace) and now I'm in the lab 5 days a week I felt like I needed to have some choice for lab footwear. They looked the most amazing colour on the website but in real life look really quite childish (like crayon pink - it's weird!) However, I realized that once they are worn in they'll probably look quite nice and they sure are distinctive. They were so darn cheap as well - I cannot really complain!

So these are just a few of the bits and pieces I have been treating myself to recently. If I photographed everything I would be at it for about 2 weeks and no-one wants to read a post that long!

    As you know, i absolutely love those shoes!!! gorgeous. i also hate the fact that you can't find nice lingerie for 16+! literally all I'm looking for is a non wired non padded all that SHIZZ bra (basically that one ^) to lounge about in the house in. with clothes as well of course. So i'll definitely be buying myself one! xxx

      They are just gorgeous! I have been on such an extensive search it's not even funny. I have a few from Aerie which a little small but do the job. It's not the point though - we deserve them too! I should start a petition/my own lingerie range ;)

    Hahahaha...I can relate with the excessive buying when your student finance money rolls in. After I completed Uni, I thought how stupid I have behaved, because I could have save more. LoL!
    On the bralet, - Girl, you hit the nail right on the head!! What can a curvy lady do to get some sexy ones for something something. Hahaha... I'm still searching too.

    I love that bralette! I seriously can't stand padded bras and bralettes are just so comfy, love wearing them. My problem is a little different, but whenever I find the prettiest bra, it always has to be padded and really uncomfortable to wear. Your Converse shoes are so pretty too, love that color!

    I think the converses are quite cool! Currently I've just been getting some Autumn basics in, although I did get a new jumper that isn't something that I would normally go for that I'm quite pleased about :)

      New Look have so many bralets to fit up to a size 14-16 but very few above. I was lucky to snap up that one!

    Oh god, I miss student loans! Such a great feeling to see that one hitting your bank account!

    What a gorgeous bralet! I don't actually own one either but they look so lovely to dress up in! And oh my, those converse are the most perfect colour!
