LIFESTYLE // Quotebook are bae*

Hello!

Honest to god I was using the word 'bae' ironically. Okay, maybe I wasn't. In 2017 it will not even matter so let's just move past that.

Anyway, the lovelies over at Quotebooks (check their Etsy store out here) got in touch and asked me a very serious question: what would I write in one of their notebooks? Naturally, with me starting a PhD and all, I decided that I would save them for that and keep one by my side at all times. You never know when you're going to have that eureka moment right?

So, me being me, I had a look with the intention of getting one book. I ended up buying two. With them being such a reasonable price and so individual I just couldn't help myself #workinggalproblems. I chose the 'science notes, bitch' book purely for academic reasons but I also loved the quote 'turn fear of the unknown into curiosity' and so that jumped right into my basket too because I apparently have no self control.

The books came in a perfectly suitable box, little thank you note and even a pencil! It's such a lovely touch that I didn't expect at all. The book covers are made of quite thick, pastel coloured card which are so insta ready it's crazy. The paper is also crazy thick and good quality. I doubt there will be any pen showing through to the other side, that's for sure!

The books only come in a lined version and the lines are a little dark for my liking but they look far too cute on my desk. I'm finding it so difficult to not open these bad boys up and start making lots of lists but I'm trying to have some control...honest!
